    1. 新約 - 羅馬書(Romans)第2章

      You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge the other, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things.
      Now we know that God's judgment against those who do such things is based on truth.
      So when you, a mere man, pass judgment on them and yet do the same things, do you think you will escape God's judgment?
      Or do you show contempt for the riches of his kindness, tolerance and patience, not realizing that God's kindness leads you toward repentance?
      But because of your stubbornness and your unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath against yourself for the day of God's wrath, when his righteous judgment will be revealed.
      God "will give to each person according to what he has done."
      To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality, he will give eternal life.
      But for those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth and follow evil, there will be wrath and anger.
      There will be trouble and distress for every human being who does evil: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile;
      but glory, honor and peace for everyone who does good: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile.
      For God does not show favoritism.
      All who sin apart from the law will also perish apart from the law, and all who sin under the law will be judged by the law.
      For it is not those who hear the law who are righteous in God's sight, but it is those who obey the law who will be declared righteous.
      (Indeed, when Gentiles, who do not have the law, do by nature things required by the law, they are a law for themselves, even though they do not have the law,
      since they show that the requirements of the law are written on their hearts, their consciences also bearing witness, and their thoughts now accusing, now even defending them.)
      This will take place on the day when God will judge men's secrets through Jesus Christ, as my gospel declares.
      Now you, if you call yourself a Jew; if you rely on the law and brag about your relationship to God;
      if you know his will and approve of what is superior because you are instructed by the law;
      if you are convinced that you are a guide for the blind, a light for those who are in the dark,
      an instructor of the foolish, a teacher of infants, because you have in the law the embodiment of knowledge and truth--
      you, then, who teach others, do you not teach yourself? You who preach against stealing, do you steal?
      You who say that people should not commit adultery, do you commit adultery? You who abhor idols, do you rob temples?
      You who brag about the law, do you dishonor God by breaking the law?
      As it is written: "God's name is blasphemed among the Gentiles because of you."
      Circumcision has value if you observe the law, but if you break the law, you have become as though you had not been circumcised.
      If those who are not circumcised keep the law's requirements, will they not be regarded as though they were circumcised?
      The one who is not circumcised physically and yet obeys the law will condemn you who, even though you have the written code and circumcision, are a lawbreaker.
      A man is not a Jew if he is only one outwardly, nor is circumcision merely outward and physical.
      No, a man is a Jew if he is one inwardly; and circumcision is circumcision of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the written code. Such a man's praise is not from men, but from God.
      羅馬書第二章   羅 2:1> 提醒指點,用心良苦,論斷人?我不是這個意思啊……

        2:1 當我們感到要以正義的姿態來指出別人的罪時,我們必須小心。我們要指出罪惡,但一定要以一個謙卑的態度。很多時候,我們把別人的罪看得很清楚,卻不知道那些罪同樣生長在我們的里面。只要我們細心反省,就會發現我們所犯的罪,是社會上普遍流行的。比如愛說人閑話的人,也經常指責別人說他的閑話?!?BR>
        羅 2:1-15> 保羅所說的你同意嗎?他竟說人不能靠自己得救,你知道我一向表現不錯啊……

        2:1-15 保羅的信到達羅馬教會的弟兄姊妹手中后,他們毫無疑問地會同意保羅對拜偶像者、同性戀者及犯罪的人的指責;但是對他所說“你們和他們一樣,不能逃罪”,他們一定會感到震驚。保羅強調沒有人有足夠的善行,可以拯救自己。若想不受懲罰,跟基督永遠同住,就惟有仰賴神的恩典。這個真理對于任何人都同樣有效。不管是罪大惡極的,還是誠實正直的,保羅在此無意討論什么罪重,什么罪輕;只強調我們犯任何罪都只有信靠耶穌才能使罪得赦和得享永生,在基督以外,再沒有任何赦罪的方法?!?BR>
        2:4 人很容易把神對我們的容忍,誤解為祂接納我們的敗壞生活。自我評價原本就不容易做到;但向神坦然承認我們的行為,讓祂指出我們的缺點,更是困難。身為基督徒,我們必須恒久地祈求神,讓神指出我們的罪,求祂醫治??上覀兺ǔV粫@訝神對別人的寬容,卻極少想到神對自己的容忍?!?BR>
        羅 2:5-11> 誰人都要見神面!神你不是在嚇唬我吧,我的模樣,何敢……

        2:5-11 雖然我們很少因所犯的罪立刻受到懲罰,但是神最終的審判卻是確實的。我們不曉得什么時候審判會臨到,但是知道在那一刻人人都要面對創造主,沒有人可以逃得掉。(有關審判的經文,請參約 12:48 ;啟 20:11-15 。)

        羅 2:7> 遵行神旨意得永生?信就得救?何者講對了?

        2:7 保羅說,凡恒心遵行神旨意的人都會得永生,這跟他前面惟有因信得救的講法( 1:16-17 )并沒有矛盾。我們不是靠好行為得救,但是我們如果把生命交給神就自然會討祂的喜歡。我們的善行不是賺取恩典的條件,乃是感謝神的一種回應?!?BR>
        羅 2:12-15> 自己就是自己的律法,這句話是說給誰聽?我們不是有神的律法嗎?

        2:12-15 所謂“不知者無罪”,人只會因他所知道的而被定罪。那些認識神的道和律法的人,就按著神的道和律法接受審判;那些從沒有讀過圣經的人,就要按著他們良心的標準接受審判,因為良心會告訴他們什么是對的,什么是錯的?!?BR>
        羅 2:12-15> 其實人是知道什么是善,什么是惡的,只是又會繼續犯罪,不知何解……

        2:12-15 只要你到世界各地走走,必定能發現不論哪一種社會和文化,都有神的道德法律在其中。例如,不同的文化背景的人都禁止謀殺,只是每個社會都有人違犯這法律。人類真是愚頑極了,明明知道什么是對的,卻偏偏堅持錯的。因此,單是知道什么是善并不足夠,我們更要有善的行為。向神及自己承認我們跟其他人沒什么分別,連自己的良心標準都達不到,更何況神的道德標準呢?這就是得蒙赦免和醫治的第一步?!?BR>
        羅 2:17-29> 信仰是活出來的,你說;怎樣才算?我如何“活出來”?

        2:17-29 保羅繼續指出,每個人在神面前都是有罪的。在描述異教徒和不信者的命運以后,他就轉向那群宗教的特權階層。他們雖然知道神的心意,卻因為沒有活出信仰而被定罪。今天那些生長在基督教家庭的基督徒,如果活不出他們所信奉的,保羅的指責就是針對他們了?!?BR>
        羅 2:21-22> “你既教導別人,還不教導自己嗎?”這話嚇了我一跳,我不會講一套,做一套吧……

        2:21-22 保羅指出猶太人也需要以律法來教導自己(而不是別人)。因為他們通曉律法,在批評他人的時候,又懂得為自己的行為尋找藉口。但是律法并不只是字面上的最低要求,也是一個根據神的心意而制訂的生活指導;律法更提醒我們要與神建立良好的關系,否則就不能討祂的喜悅。當我們批評別人之前先要省察自己,看看這些罪是不是也以別的形式出現在我們身上?!?BR>
        羅 2:21-27> 照我講的那套去做,挺容易的,你笑我天真?

        2:21-27 這幾節經文對偽善者作出了嚴厲的指責。糾正別人的過錯總是比督促自己的行為容易;講正確的道理遠遠比實踐這些道理容易。你是不是也常常要求別人做一些你自己也不愿意或很難做到的事?努力使自己言行一致吧!

        羅 2:24> 我身我心反映神模樣,糟糕,若是這樣,人會如何看神?

        2:24 你要是聲稱是屬神的人,就必須照著神的旨意生活。你要是不順服神,就會羞辱祂的名,別人也會因你的緣故而誹謗神。當別人觀察你的生活的時候,他們聯想到的神是怎樣的呢?

        羅 2:25-29> 我們不用行表面的割禮,但要行“心里的割禮”,我……

        2:25-29 割禮是神與祂的子民立約的記號,所有猶太男性都要接受割禮(參創 17:9-14 )。根據保羅所言,如果不聽從神的律法,即使受了割禮的猶太人也算不得什么;另一方面,沒受割禮的外邦人如果遵行律法的要求,也可得到神的愛和接納。保羅繼續解釋,作為一個蒙神喜悅的真猶太人,并不是表面上行了割禮的人,而是內心堅信神,愿意順服神的“內在的猶太人”?!?BR>
        羅 2:28-29> 只有外在不足夠,保羅要求可真高;怎樣的人始得救?可會是……

        2:28-29 成為猶太人就表示是神家里的人,可以承受神的應許。這里保羅一針見血地指出,只有外在的條件而沒有內在的本質,絕不能成為猶太人。只有內心跟神一致的人才是真正的猶太人──神家里的人(參加 3:7 )。參加教會聚會、接受洗禮、堅信禮,或成為會友都不足夠,就像單純接受割禮也不足以成為猶太人一樣。神希望我們真心相信祂、順服祂。(有關心里的割禮,請參申 10:16 ;耶 4:4 。)
